Ginger Shots

Join us at the Library! On Tuesday, December 3rd, come to the BRPL and sample ginger shots. A ginger shot is a concentrated drink made from fresh ginger root that is typically consumed in small doses. We’ll have recipe cards available, if you’d like to try to make them on your own at home. Fun begins at 2 PM until supplies last. This is a free event with no registration required.

Dinovember

Celebrate Dinovember with the Bowman Regional Public Library and Pioneer Trails Regional Museum! Everyday we will post pictures of what the Dinosaurs are doing on @pioneertrailsmuseum and @bowmanlibrary! We will have Dinosaur themed Story Times, Dinosaur Crafts, Coloring Contest, and Dinosaur themed events all month long!

Bring your own book Book club

BYOB (Bring Your Own Book!) Book Club! Always wanted to join a book club but didn’t have the time to commit to the reading or tired of the assigned books? This is the event for you!

It’s a book club with a twist. Instead of reading a pre-determined title, we’ll meet and talk about what you’re currently reading and get suggestions for new titles to try. Can’t wait to talk about your new favorite read? Just want to listen in? Readers of all stripes are welcome.

We’ll meet on Wednesday, September 4th at Noon in the Bowman Regional Public Library. Tasty snacks provided and we’ll feature a different specialty tea for you to sample if you so desire. No registration is required. Age 18+ Join us!

Jigsaw Puzzle Competition

Calling all puzzle lovers! Attend the BRPL Jigsaw Puzzle Competition! Register your team of 2 people to compete to solve a 300-piece jigsaw puzzle.

Register at www.bowmanlibrary.com or call the library at 701-523-3797. Deadline for registration is Thursday, September 26th at 3 PM. Space is limited so register early!

Each team has up to 2 hours to complete the puzzle. The first team to finish wins! Puzzling begins at 2 PM. The winning team will win a prize.

Meet other people in your community and have fun in this free program.

Plant Swap

Plant Swap! Bring pest-free houseplant or garden plant to trade or share. Plants can be houseplants or outdoor plants, small starter plants, propagated slips or seed packets. No worries if you don’t have a plant to swap! No need to bring something to take something, and no need to take something if you bring something to donate. Fun begins at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 25th.

Snack Adventure: Africa

Stop in the Library on Tuesday, August 20th from 2-5 PM for a Snack Adventure! Each month we’ll pick a different region and feature their favorite snacks. This month is Africa. Sample snacks, rate your favorite! This is a free, all-ages event.

Stuffed Animal Challenge

Build the tallest structure that will support our stuffed animals and win a prize! For all ages and no registration is required. We’ll provide all the things to you need.
