Join us on Sunday, November 10th for a clay holiday ornament workshop with Dacotah Clayworks. 2-5 PM. No registration is required. Jigsaw Puzzle Competition
Calling all puzzle lovers! Attend the BRPL Jigsaw Puzzle Competition! Register your team of up to 4 people to compete to solve a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle.
Register at www.bowmanlibrary.com or call the library at 701-523-3797. Deadline for registration is Thursday, November 14th at 3 PM. Space is limited so register early!
Each team has up to 3 hours to complete the puzzle. The first team to finish wins! Puzzling begins at 2 PM. The winning team will win a prize.

Are you ready to bring your imagination to life? Just like Dr. Frankenstein, you’ll take apart old toys and mix-and-match their parts to create your very own monster masterpiece. It’s all the fun of deconstruction, with a dash of spooky science! Sunday, October 20th from 2-5 PM at the BRPL!
All ages event but littles might need assistance. No registration required but supplies are limited!

Trick or Tater Potato Costume Contest
Trick out a Potato at the Library! We’re holding a costume contest for Potatoes! Come to the Library on Tuesday, October 15th
Trick or Tater Potato decorating! Make a costume for your potato and we’ll vote on the winners. We’ll supply everything you need to create a costume for your spud (including the potato!).
All ages are welcome to participate. No registration required. All costumes must be handmade but you may include some purchased or pre-made elements. No obscene, graphic, or offensive costumes allowed. Let’s keep things family-friendly!
Entry into the contest constitutes permission for the library to use your photo on our website, social media, or future promotional materials.
Apple Taste-test challenge
Join us on Tuesday, October 8th for an Apple Taste-Test Challenge. We will sample a variety of apples and vote for our favorites! Tasting from 2-5 PM or until the apples run out.

Plant Swap
Plant Swap! Bring pest-free houseplant or garden plant to trade or share. Plants can be houseplants or outdoor plants, small starter plants, propagated slips or seed packets. No worries if you don’t have a plant to swap! No need to bring something to take something, and no need to take something if you bring something to donate. Fun begins at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 25th.
