Relax with us with a cup of Hot Cocoa from the Cocoa Bar and a Coloring page. Coloring is a relaxing activity and can help us all deal with stress. Our coloring pages range from simple to difficult, the beauty of it is that you have options. Coloring inside the lines is not required. Audience: All Ages.
We provide the supplies and the space for you to let your creative side out. Join us while we color and converse. Tuesday, October 10th, 17th, and 24th. 2-5 PM
Join us Wednesday from 4-4:45pm for STEAM! We will build together using different toys and activities. This week will be your choice. You may choose to play with whatever STEAM toys we have. Please register so we can ensure we have enough space/supplies.
Share your artistic talents by participating in the Bowman Regional Public Library’s Tiny Art Show. Create a work of art no larger than 6×6″ and return it to the library by Wednesday, August 23 at 5:00pm. Canvases will be available beginning Tuesday, July 11, or you can attend an in-person making event each Tuesday from July 11th – August 1st at 2-4 PM.
Artwork will be displayed in the library from August 27 – September 28th.
Each week a new Take & Make craft is set out in front of the Library most Tuesday mornings. Drop by and pick up an envelope containing all you’ll need for a ‘do-at-home’ craft. Basic supplies such as glue and scissors will not be included in the craft envelopes. Pick them up early so you don’t miss out! Take & Make crafts are free – first come, first served!

Summer Reading is finally here!!! We have challenges for every age. Track your summer reading and earn prizes along the way! Each challenge has a paper version or you can track it all online at https://bowmanlibrary.beanstack.org.
Here is a little bit about each challenge being offered:
Pre-K: Complete the Activity Bingo card by choosing to read books to your child in ways that fit each of the 9 prompts. Once you have completed all 9, a blackout, turn it in, or contact the library to receive a prize! (Paper Version can be picked up at the front desk.)
Ages 5-12: Track 20 hours of summer reading and complete the included Activity Bingo card and earn prizes along the way! (Paper version can be picked up at the front desk.)
Ages 12-17 (Teens): Set your own reading goals and smash them! Once completed, contact the library for a prize! (Paper version can be picked up at the front desk.)
Ages 18+ (Adults): Read 6 books, each book having an option of 3 different keywords. You must pick a title that includes one of the keywords for each book. (Check out our new display for the paper version and some ideas to get you started!)
Ok here’s your challenge: we’ve started this drawing now it’s up to you to finish it. How will you do that? Will you continue using a black marker and add more lines? A bevy of geometric motifs? Or will you add COLOR? Maybe just black, white and red? Or an explosion of the color wheel? It’s all up to you!
We want to see your finished work! Share on social media with the hashtag #BOCOmakeanddo
